Summer Camp

Summer camp is offered weekly at The Woodlands from the third week of June through the last week of August each year.

We focus on riding and the establishment of a relationship between horse and rider. Campers are grouped by skill level, and if they attend more than one week, the instruction will build upon the previous week’s experience. In addition to riding sessions daily, campers will learn such skills as horse care, show preparation, dealing with foals and yearlings, and trail riding. Additional activities include arts and crafts, fishing, boating and biking.

Every friday we will conduct a schooling show involving the campers with emphasis on individual achievement and horse/rider communication, and ribbons will be awarded.

Camp is limited to 12 campers per session (including day campers).

Summer Overnight Camp

Campers arrive on Sunday late afternoon and depart on Saturday afternoon with three meals daily.

The fee is $650 for the first weekly session for OVERNIGHT CAMP.  A $35 discount will apply for additional weeks or immediate family members. Prior to June 1st, reservations may be made with a deposit of $200 (for each week), with the remainder due by that date. After June 1st, full fees must accompany reservations. For those reserving with full payment before December 31st, a 10% discount will apply for the full reservation. Early reservations likely ensure that space is available.
